Bodegas Sanchez Rosado Wines of Malaga_F2 Winery visits Wine tourism Visit our wineryThe project of the winery was initiated by the Sánchez – Rosado family in 1998, when they acquired the estate “La Chamuscá”, located in the mountains of the municipality of Cártama, about 20 km west of the city of Málaga – Andalusia in the extreme south of Spain.
Their intention was to recuperate the winemaking tradition that had existed on the “Sierra de Cártama” mountain since Roman times until the phylloxera ravaged it completely long time ago. It became the main motivation for many years of hard work, seeking steady progress in this passionate world of wine production.

The winery was acquired in 2017 by a Belgian investors family, also passionate about wine. Their intention is to continue this fine tradition and invest in the winery’s further development and the creation of high-quality wines.
