The winery

Winery Malaga Bodegas Sanchez Rosado Vinos de Malaga_F2 Enoturism visit our cave in CartamaThe winery project was initiated by the Sanchez – Rosado family in 1998, when they acquired  “La Chamuscá” estate, located in the mountains of the municipality of Cártama, about 20 km west of the city of Málaga in the far south of Spain.

Their intention was to recuperate the winemaking tradition that had existed on the “Sierra de Cártama” mountains until the phylloxera ravaged it  completely long time ago. It became the main motivation for many years of hard work, seeking steady progress in this passionate world of wine production.
